Meet Taryn

Hi there! I’m Taryn, a real estate broker with John L. Scott, where I’ve been helping clients find their perfect homes for nearly three years. My entrepreneurial journey began as a top consultant in a global direct sales company, which, combined with my experience managing personal rental properties, has made real estate a natural and fulfilling fit for me. Before transitioning into real estate, I was a high school teacher, a role that fueled my passion for serving and helping people—a passion that continues to drive my work today.

For me, real estate is all about building lasting relationships. I’m passionate about prompt communication, ensuring that my clients always feel heard and supported throughout the entire process. I pride myself on being a creative thinker and an enthusiastic problem-solver, always ready to adapt to whatever challenges come our way. My optimistic and outgoing nature helps me connect with people easily, making the whole experience enjoyable and stress-free.

I’ve been honored with the President’s Elite award in 2023 and was named John L. Scott’s Rookie of the Year in 2022. Real estate wasn’t just a job for me—it was a way to dive deeper into the world of property, especially since my husband and I have several investment properties ourselves. I absolutely love exploring every home on the market and finding the perfect match for my clients.

Outside of work, life is a whirlwind with my husband Colton and our three kids—Brooklyn, Cooper, and Cason. We are always on the go, whether it’s AAU basketball, club soccer or travel baseball you can find us on the sidelines.

In this busy season of life, I’m inspired daily by my family and my faith. I’m all about making the most of every moment, both in my personal life and in my work. If you’re looking for a broker who’s genuinely excited to help you find your dream home, I’d love to connect. Let’s make your real estate experience something truly special!

Yakima

In southern, central Washington, you’ll find the quaint, agricultural center of Yakima. Most of the nations hops are grown here. And Over 50 wineries dot the Yakima Valley. The rich soil mimics the conditions of France, which makes this fertile valley so productive. Apples are another major crop here, but you’ll also find lots of other produce growing here as well. Downtown Yakima has been revitalized from a former retail core to a more pedestrian friendly experience with local boutiques, artisan shops, and restaurants. Old North Yakima is on the National Register of Historic Places and includes much of the city’s beginnings, including the City Hall and Opera House, much of which has turned into restaurant and retail space. Nob Hill is a popular neighborhood in Yakima due to its proximity to downtown. Terrace Heights has some of the best parks in the area. Washington Avenue is out near the airport and offers easy access to nearby areas of Ahtanum and Summitview. These neighborhoods offer a suburban feel and newer homes as Yakima expands this direction. Far out west of West Valley, you’ll find the Gromore and Harwood neighborhoods. These are popular for more rural living and homes with acreage. If you’d like to learn more about Yakima, let us know! We’d love to show you around and help you find your dream home.
